International Women's Day Celebrated on March 8 is a day dedicated to honouring the achievements of women throughout history and all across the globe, and is typically a day for women from all different cultures and backgrounds to band together to fight for gender equality and women's rights. The theme for this year is, I am Generation Equality: Realizing Women’s Rights. Whereas last year the theme was Think equal, build smart, innovate for change.
